This week has been exceptionally busy with various events taking place.
Our Foundation Art and Design students have been showcasing their extremely creative and thought-provoking artwork at Independent Arts. There is still time to visit and take a look at their exceptional work. Please see the poster below for details.
On Wednesday evening, we had our first Annual Awards Evening, and it was amazing to see the breadth of talent we have across our community. On Thursday, we held our Year 13 Prom, which was a fitting way to see them off into their next adventures. Finally, Year 12 have started their end of year exams which help to not only mark their progress they have made this year, but ensure progression onto Year 13.
Next week, we have university trips to Southampton University and Oxford University alongside our pre-enrolment day for our new Year 12s who are joining us in September. We also unveil our new student entrance - the left-hand set of red doors as you look at the building. The doors open from Monday, and we ask students to tap in on their way into the building and tap out on the way out. The old student entrance will be open for a week whilst students adjust but, from Monday 7 July, it will close and students will not be able to gain access through this way.
Finally, we have had some new sporting equipment arrive. We now have brand new netball and basketball hoops alongside two outside table tennis tables for students to be able to use whilst on site.
Have a lovely weekend and we will see you all on Monday.
