Weekly Updates from The Island VI Form

It has been a really productive week at The VI Form and I am pleased to say we are still maintaining a high attendance amongst our student body with Year 12 averaging 96.3% and Year 13 averaging 93.3%, both of these are above the national average. Let's keep this up! We ideally want to be above 95% for both year groups.

This week, we have published our list of extra-curricular clubs which are taking place. Please click here to see what is going on. We have also moved our bursary application form online. Please look on the 16-19 Bursary page of the website for the link and also posters around the college for the QR code.

Equestrian Success

Year 13 student, Freya, competed in The Sunshine Tour Championships recently at Hickstead. This is a prestigious event and she competed against people from across the country who had all had to qualify for a place.

She competed in three dressage classes and took two champions and one reserve champion. She also competed in an arena eventing class, taking 10th place and took 13th place in a show jumping class.

This is a fantastic accomplishment - well done, Freya!
