This is the final blog from me for 2025 as we have now come to the end of the Autumn Term.
I would like to thank all students for the hard work you have shown this half term and parents for the support from home to ensure all students can be inspired and flourish in their studies. This week we have had a lovely Christmas Fair in the hall on Wednesday to raise money for the Mozambique trip and we have also been busily collecting supplies for the food bank. Thank you so much for the support shown for both of these causes. On Wednesday we were also lucky enough to have GKN in to run some very useful workshops on apprenticeships.
At the moment we have 120 Year 13 students who have applied to university for September 2026. If you are still intending to apply, please remember that the final deadline set by UCAS is 14 January. Please see Student Services who can support you through the process.
Attendance on the whole has been good this half term, but in the last week we have been hit by a lot of the illnesses going around. Hopefully the two week break will ensure that germs are not so rapidly shared around.
I hope you have a lovely two break and we looking forward to welcoming students back to college on Monday 5 January 2026.
Happy Christmas!
