13th March 2026

Weekly Updates from The Island VI Form

It has been a brilliant week to see some of the students performing at their best. We have started carrying out interviews for our Foundation Course and the portfolios that we have been seeing are absolutely stunning. We have also had our EPQ (Extended Project Qualifications) presentations. It was fascinating to see such diverse and well-researched presentations given.

On Thursday there was an excellent assembly for Year 13 based on how they go about sorting their finances to apply for university. Another important and exciting step for those students who are choosing this pathway.

Just a couple of reminders about events coming up. On Wednesday the 18th March as 7pm we have our Easter Quiz taking place and then the following week we have Year 12 parents evening on Wednesday 25th March. If you have not yet managed to book your slots please do asap. These can be booked from the arbor app or through reception.

Finally, please see below about a new exciting Access to A Levels offer we have running from September, in case you have anyone who might be interested.

Have a lovely weekend.
