I would like to extend a warm welcome back to all our students as we have now entered into the summer term.
We had some really lovely news on Wednesday. The Young Enterprise team have won their most recent round and are now off to London to compete in the South East final. This is such excellent news, and we couldn't be prouder of them.
I would like to extend a sincere apology regarding the confusion with the latest Year 13 reports sent home. The error was unacceptable on our part and systems are now in place to ensure that this will not happen again. If you do have existing concerns around the data sent home, please email or phone reception, and we will work through your enquiry as quickly as possible.
As we enter into the summer term, it is important for Year 12 to focus their energies on preparing for the Year 12 exams in June. These exams are very important, if a student does not pass, their progression into Year 13 will be discussed. Mr Williams will be holding a special assembly this half-term to discuss exams to ensure students are all clear as to what they need to do to prepare.
As for Year 13, they are now entering the final push with their final exams now starting to occur. Please remember student study leave does not come in till after May Half Term. However, even after half-term, teachers may ask students to come in if they still have exams in their subject or if they have coursework to complete for BTEC.
Have a lovely weekend
Phil Pearce-Jones - Head of School
