We are now reaching our final week of term. We break up for the Easter break on Friday 4 April at normal time.
This week we had the University of Southampton come in to talk to Year 12 and Year 13. They gave some really helpful advice about the university process and student finance. The presentations have been sent home to students and parents/carers.
I have also been out this week to The Bay Secondary School and Carisbrooke College carrying out more interviews for our intake next year. Finally, we had Foundation Art interviews this week for students wishing to stay into Year 14. It is so exciting to see so many students excited to join our institution.
Next week we have our Year 12 Parents' Evening on Wednesday 2 April between 4-7pm. If you haven't yet booked there is still time to book through Arbor. Don't forget we have representations from Post 18 providers attending to help you start to think about the next steps.
On Thursday 3 April, we also have the Spring Fayre from 3.15-5.15 in the hall. This is to support fundraising for the students who are off to Mozambique in 2026 to carry out charity work out there. Of course, we still have interviews taking place for the new intake from The Free School and students wishing to join us from the mainland. It is not too late to submit an application for next year, if you know anyone who is still considering us.
Have a lovely weekend!
