As we head into the final week of this half term, it is amazing how quickly the time has flown by! I hope everyone has some wonderful plans lined up for the upcoming break. Please keep in mind that the first day back is a staff training Development Day, so school will be closed to students until they return on Tuesday 3rd November.
It has been an exceptionally busy Hello Yellow Day today as we ran a variety of events in support of World Mental Health Awareness Day. Highlights included a motivational talk from Francis Benali, the creation of our Yellow Wall of Positivity, and an exciting Taskmaster challenge for Year 12.
Trial examinations for Year 13 students are scheduled to begin on 4 November. Individual timetables have been emailed directly to each student's registered email address. Please check that you have received your timetable and are preparing thoroughly for these assessments, as they will enable us to identify key areas for improvement ahead of next year's final exams.
Preparations are underway for our Open Evening, scheduled for Thursday 12th November between 5pm and 8pm. Talks delivered by staff and students will take place at 5.15pm and 6pm.
Attendance has slipped slightly this week. Please make every effort to come into College regularly. If your attendance falls below 90%, you may be asked to attend an attendance review meeting.
Have a lovely weekend!
