Young Enterprise Team – Boundless Wight

Yesterday, our outstanding Young Enterprise team, Boundless Wight, took centre stage at the Island’s second Dragon’s Den event, pitching for £125 of investment. We are delighted to share that they came out on top, winning first place!
Led by CEO Seb Flower, the team impressed the judges with their brilliant concept: WALK THE WIGHT, a board game that celebrates local landmarks, Island businesses, and everything that makes the Isle of Wight special. Think Monopoly… but with better views and a bigger heart.
The judges were particularly impressed by how closely the team has worked with a wide range of Island businesses to bring the product to life - an achievement that truly set them head and shoulders above the competition.
The talented team behind the pitch includes:
- Kinga Korowska, Design Director
- Sophie Sanders, Sales Director
- Liv Adriaenssens & Conor Dean, Social Media and Marketing Directors
- Issac Millington, Finance Director
- Louis Wakefield, Research and Development Director
A special thank you must go to their business mentor, Tracy Osborn, Director of Quarr Abbey, whose guidance, support and inspiration have been invaluable throughout the journey. Thanks also to Teemill who very kindly sponsored the team's branded t-shirts.
Not only is WALK THE WIGHT designed to bring people together around the table, it also gives back, with a percentage of profits proudly donated to Mountbatten - our local hospice and organisers of the much loved real-life event, Walk the Wight.
Confident, creative and community-focused, Boundless Wight showed exactly what Young Enterprise is all about. Watch this space… the Island might soon be walking the Wight one board game at a time. Bring on the Island Finals next month!
