The Island VI Form is an outstanding VI Form provision offering quality post 16 education for the entire Isle of Wight. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a wide breadth of A levels and vocational courses that allow students maximum life opportunities. Our learning facilities are of a standard to rival any learning institution in the country, with a central location in Newport that is seconds away from the bus station, allowing for easy connections to anywhere on the Island. 

The Island VI Form is an ideal bridge between school and higher education or employment, which gives students more freedom and responsibility. Students are encouraged and supported to become adults. We facilitate their development of the study and work skill sets needed for university or the world of work. 

We are committed to ensuring our students are on the right pathway for them, be it attending Universities such as Oxford and Cambridge, training to be Vets and Doctors, developing a passion for STEM and Creative vocations or allowing them access to a fantastic array of Apprenticeships, to name but a few. Our classroom activities steer students to become active, inquisitive and independent learners. 

As well as offering a strong choice of subjects, we also offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, trips nationally and internationally and a very strong Student Voice Committee.
