It was a pleasure to welcome Year 8 students from The Island Free School this week for a tour of our campus and a workshop with Mr Pearce-Jones and Mr Williams. They explored post-16 education and how the choices we make along our educational journey

Students attended STEM to complete a heart dissection. It was great to welcome some non-scientists to the group. Students orientated themselves with the different parts of the heart, looking for the major chamber and valves. The main observation was how small the Artims (the top chamber on each side of the heart, that fills with blood first).
