A Level Results 2025

The Island VI Form is thrilled to congratulate the 2025 leavers on an excellent set of A level results. These results are due to a great deal of hard work and dedication from students and staff, alongside invaluable encouragement and support from parents. We are very proud of every single student.

We are delighted to share that the vast majority of students who have chosen to go to university have secured the results required for their first-choice institutions. Whilst students who have chosen prestigious higher level apprenticeships, job-specific training opportunities and full-time employment have also been very successful at securing their chosen next step.

This cohort of students, who had the start of secondary education disturbed by covid, have shown remarkable resilience in their education over the last few years and their strong outcomes are thoroughly deserved. We hope the developed skills of perseverance and resilience are carried through into their future endeavours.

This group of students have overcome many challenges in their educational journey, working closely with teachers during the past two years to create some wonderful stories of success. Now these young people start the next exciting phase of their journey. We wish them all the best for their futures."

Phil Pearce-Jones, Head of the Island VI Form said "On behalf of the Island VI Form, I am thrilled to convey how immensely proud we are of the achievements of our students today. At the Island VI Form, students are at the forefront of everything we do, and these grades show only part of their success. Alongside these important qualifications, they have learnt to be well-rounded individuals, participating in volunteer work, hosting community events, taking part in schemes such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and learning the skills to deal with the challenges of adult life."

We wish all of our students the best for their next steps and look forward to updates on their future successes.
