The Island VI Form Marks Armistice Day

The Island VI Form students and staff were honoured to join the service in St Thomas' Square today to mark Armistice Day.
The service was attended by hundreds paying their respects to those who lost their lives to protect our freedom. After the Exhortation was read out, The Last Post was played as the square fell silent to reflect on the occasion's importance.
Students laid a wreath on behalf of The Island VI Form at the Memorial. It was a pleasure to be able to pay our respects collectively and join our local community in doing so.
