Head of School’s Blog – 8 March 2024
Dear Students, Parents & Carers,
We are halfway through this half term already and we have 14 school days until the Arts based exams and 40 school days until the main exams start for Year 13. Year 12, you have 65 school days until your end of year exams start.
Therefore, I hope that all of you have revision plans in place? This means that resources are created with plenty of time in the coming weeks to go over them again and again, burning the knowledge into your long term memory. Hard work pays off.
We will be launching the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ – half an A level) to Year 12 over the coming weeks. There will be an extended assembly around Easter to provide full details. Part of this launch includes the current Year 13 EPQ students exhibiting their projects in the Hall on Tuesday 12 March, from 2.30pm. This is your chance to see what they have done and ask any questions about the qualification.
If you are currently studying two A Levels, you need to think about what you will be picking up to still be classed as a full time student, could it be the EPQ?
Hopefully we will all enjoy a sunny weekend.
Mr Mumford
