Dear Students, Parents & Carers,

As we approach our half-term break, I would like to highlight the courage and exemplary presence of mind demonstrated by a group of our students this week. As they were making their way home, they saw a pedestrian lying on the pavement, who was quite badly injured. The group showed incredible level-headedness, administering first aid and calling an ambulance. Many thanks to these students, whose selfless actions went a long way to help someone who was in serious need of help.

The revision timetable for half-term has been published and I am grateful to all the teachers who are providing this additional support for Year 13. I’m sure that parents and carers will want to encourage their young people to attend. The timetable for the Year 13 Trial Exams has also been published. On Wednesday, we enjoyed a fabulous Information Evening for the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. Many thanks to all involved. Applications are now welcome for the course starting in September 2025 and you can find information and an application form on the website here. 

Just a quick reminder that the Year 13 Virtual Parents’ Evening will take place on Wednesday 6 November and details of how to book appointments have been emailed to parents and carers this week. If there are any problems, please telephone or email our main office.
