VI Form Blog - 6 December 2024
Welcome to the first week of December! I hope that you are all underway with your preparation for Christmas. My name is Phil Pearce-Jones and, as you will have seen from the letter from Ms Croke, I will be assuming the role of Head of VI Form from January. I am Deputy Headteacher across both Lower School and VI Form and have been fulfilling the role of Head of School at Lower School. However, from January I will be focusing on the VI Form and I am looking forward to working with you all.
It was really lovely to see so many Year 11 students enjoy their day with us on Wednesday to get a taste of what VI Form life is like, ready for their decision making. I sincerely hope that Year 12 used this day to great effect to get on top of their studies.
This coming week we have the Student Voice Christmas Quiz on Thursday in the main hall. I am sure this will be a lovely event seeing them raise money not only for their Prom, but also for a local charity. On Tuesday, we are welcoming visitors from our Academy Trust who will be coming in to see all the good work that is happening across the site.
Have a lovely and safe weekend.
Mr Pearce-Jones
Deputy Headteacher
