As I write my last Weekly Update, I’m reflecting on how much I’ve enjoyed my time here at the VI Form. Everyone has been very kind, and I will miss my daily chats with staff and students. I hope that the New Year brings lots of good things for the whole community. Our Christmas lunch was served yesterday and proved to be a most delicious treat. I would like to say a big thank you to our catering staff, who worked very hard to prepare and cook this special meal for us to enjoy.

Sadly, we say goodbye today to Mrs. Carole McFarlane, who has given 14 years of impeccable service to the VI Form. Her knowledge and highly impressive skill set will be much missed, as will her cheerful willingness to help staff, students and parents. We all wish her the very best for the future.

The Christmas break begins at the end of today and the Spring Term starts on Monday 6 January 2025 at the usual time.
