VI Form Blog - 7 February 2025

We are now entering the last week of term. With that in mind, can I remind you all that Monday is a Staff Development Day so the site will be closed to students.
Today has been the fundraising day for Arlo Lambie where we encouraged everyone to wear something bright or something that made them happy. It has been lovely to see so many students wearing something bright and colourful and making donations to this worthy cause. All donations left at Reception will be passed on. If you have not yet donated, please do so directly on the Just Giving page.
We have today published on our website our new Admissions and Progression Policy, please take a moment to read this as this applies not only to new admissions but also progression from Year 12 to Year 13. A link can be found here: Admissions and Progression Policy.
After half term (School breaks up for a week from Friday 14 February) we have Year 13 mocks taking place, setting the scene for Year 13 entering their last full half term of school. I know there are revision sessions going on throughout the half term break, please attend the relevant ones to you if you can. With this in mind, can I please remind you about attendance, it is really important to attend every lesson where you can to maximise your chances of success.
This week we have had the new WIFI system switched on and this will hopefully mean that students have access to a quicker and more reliable system. Instructions for logging on were emailed out to students.
Finally, forms to sign up for Year 12 enrichment sessions next half term and to become part of the new Student Voice team were sent out this week. Year 12 must sign up for an enrichment session and, please, if interested sign up for one of our Student Voice opportunities.
Have a lovely weekend and we will see you all Tuesday!
